Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Hospitalist to join their established practice in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. This full-time position involves diagnosing and treating cancer and blood disorders in adults, collaborating with a supportive care team, and coordinating treatment with other specialists. The role emphasizes inpatient rounding and consultative care, offering a supportive environment focused on clinician well-being.

- Inpatient Rounding providing consultative care
- Collaborate with Hematology/Oncology care team while managing inpatient services
Responsibilities
- Order and oversee diagnostic testing in alignment with NCCN guidelines
- Prescribe treatment and supportive medications
- Collaborate with the care team to include palliative care, psychology, social work, PT, OT, Speech, dietician, nursing, research to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Oversee care provided by Advanced Practice Clinicians, as required by provider licensure
- Participate in process improvement which drives standard of care across the continuum
- Participation in tumor board(s) is required

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. with fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology
- BC/BE Medical Oncology and Hematology
- NM Medical License
- Demonstration of CARES behaviors and the practice of collaborative care
- 3-5 years minimum experience preferred
