Job Summary
BSWH is seeking an Internal Medicine physician with a strong interest in Hematology/Oncology to join a dedicated inpatient team. This role is ideal for candidates considering a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and offers a unique opportunity to build a strong clinical foundation within a supportive, team‑based model.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient rounding service (12–13 patients/day)
- Close collaboration and daily co‑management with Hematology/Oncology specialists
- High‑yield exposure to complex oncologic and hematologic conditions
- Strong mentorship and learning environment
- Traditional 7 on 7 off schedule; no procedures

Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where applicable, board certified in a specialty, or otherwise demonstrating effective pursuit of board certification as defined by the relevant specialty board or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
