Hematology/Oncology Faculty

The Wilmot Cancer Institute at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking Hematology/Oncology faculty to join its regional sites in the Upstate NY/Southern Tier area. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside UR faculty MD/DOs, APPs, and nursing staff, collaborating with experts across the Wilmot Cancer Institute. The position blends outpatient Hematology/Medical Oncology with infusion center coverage, providing a comprehensive clinical experience.

Practice Info

• Work alongside UR faculty MD/DOs, APPs, and nursing staff
• Closely collaborate with experts across the Wilmot Cancer Institute through tumor boards, educational sessions and clinical trial opportunities
• Positions are a blend of outpatient Hematology/Medical Oncology with infusion center coverage

Compensation

• Competitive compensation
• Salary range: $300,000 - $500,000 a year
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process

• M-F days (8am-5pm)

Qualifications

• Possess academic credentials and accomplishments for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
• M.D., M.D./PH.D. Degree or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Successfully completed an accredited fellowship program and possess ABIM Board Certification in an oncology specialty
• Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
• Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
• Must meet all credentialing requirements
• Eligible for Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
• Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
• Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
