Hematology/Oncologist

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking an employed Hematology/Oncologist to join its comprehensive oncology program in El Paso, TX. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role, shaping and leading a growing medical oncology practice within the largest health network in El Paso. The position offers both clinical depth and meaningful influence over the program's direction, making a lasting impact on patients and the practice of oncology.

Practice Info

• Outpatient-primary setting with inpatient support infrastructure in place.
• Outpatient clinic shares a building with cancer navigation, physical therapy, and infusion services.
• Integrated oncology resources include in-house labs, imaging, oncology pharmacy, pathology, and collaborative tumor boards.
• Outpatient team includes a patient care tech, clinical coordinator, office coordinator, approximately 6 chemo nurses, oncology pharmacist, and certified cancer navigators.
• Inpatient support is provided by a hospitalist team managing admissions and established general and oncology surgeons on staff (breast, thyroid, colorectal, liver).
• Practice is affiliated with The Hospitals of Providence, the largest health network in El Paso, TX.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology required.
• J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available.
