• Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center is one of only seven MD Anderson Cancer Center partners in the country and the only one in Louisiana.
• ACGME 2 year Classical Hematology fellowship in addition to 3 year combined fellowship (total 16 fellows)
• Unique practice design with virtual consult coverage supporting inpatient and outpatient care and an innovative econsult platform
• Highly trained advanced practitioner resource support
• Dedicated Classical Hematology Team without malignant hematology or oncology care responsibilities
• Pathology support, apheresis and blood bank team, continuously growing in house lab capability

Shift & Schedule

• Minimal call responsibilities
• Flexible schedules to ensure a healthy work-life balance
• Allows for some weeks of flexibility working from home

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient patient care responsibilities
• Participate in or develop clinical research studies
• Teach fellows and residents
• Contribute to the development of the program

• Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in hematology
