Providers in this role will engage in inpatient and outpatient care, with opportunities to participate in clinical research, teach fellows and residents, and contribute to program development. • Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center is one of only seven MD Anderson Cancer Center partners in the country and the only one in Louisiana.
• Features an ACGME 2 year Classical Hematology fellowship in addition to a 3 year combined fellowship.
• Unique practice design with virtual consult coverage supporting inpatient and outpatient care and an innovative econsult platform.

• Dedicated Classical Hematology Team without malignant hematology or oncology care responsibilities.
• Includes pathology support, apheresis and blood bank team, and continuously growing in-house lab capability pursuing site accreditation for gene therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient patient care.
• Participate in or develop clinical research studies.
• Teach fellows and residents.
• Contribute to the development of the program.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in hematology.
• Individuals who reside in and will work from Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C. are not eligible for remote work positions.
