About the Clinicians Workday
The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, managing 15-22 patients per day including follow-ups and new consultations. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and hospital rounding with midlevel assistance when admissions are necessary. The position requires board certification in Hematology/Oncology (preferred) or Board Eligible status, with ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with call coverage during the day and at night. Documentation must be maintained through EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
