Hematologist/Oncologist

Seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Martinsburg, West Virginia, starting January 18 and ongoing. The provider will deliver comprehensive care across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings, managing approximately 16 adult patients per day. This role is supported by an established multidisciplinary team at an outpatient cancer center utilizing the EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inpatient, outpatient, and clinic coverage in a combined hematology and oncology practice
• Manage approximately 16 adult patients per day across hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Provide call coverage at a 1:4 ratio, including one week per month of inpatient rounding and call coverage, including weekend coverage
• Maintain all clinical documentation through the EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities

Shift & Schedule

• January 18 - Ongoing
• Day shift
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Structured as 4.5 days of clinic and 0.5 day of administrative time
• Call required at a 1:4 ratio, with one week per month of inpatient rounding and call coverage, including weekend coverage
