Hematologist Oncologist with GU Focus

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained hematologist oncologist to join a busy five-physician practice with offices at AdventHealth Kissimmee and AdventHealth Celebration. The ideal candidate will manage a spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions with an interest in Genitourinary Cancer, supporting one of the busiest Urologic Oncologic Surgical programs in the country. This clinical-focused role features dedicated research time and comprehensive multidisciplinary support within an expanding, family-centered practice atmosphere.

Practice Info

• Offices located at AdventHealth Kissimmee and AdventHealth Celebration
• Busy five-physician practice with APRN/PA collaboration in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support for one of the busiest Urologic Oncologic Surgical programs in the country
• Clinical-focused role 80/20 with dedicated research time
• Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services available at AdventHealth Celebration and Kissimmee
• Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials including Phase 1, and daily tumor boards

Responsibilities

• Manage other hematologic and oncologic conditions across the spectrum with an interest in Genitourinary Cancer
• Participate in a rotation of call including both inpatient and outpatient in equal share with the other physicians
• Support one of the busiest Urologic Oncologic Surgical programs in the country

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained hematologist oncologist
• Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and Medical Oncology
