Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologists to join well‐established cancer programs at multiple locations in Pennsylvania. The role offers early career and experienced physicians a chance to advance within a physician‑led organization focused on innovation, education, and patient care.

Job Duties

• Provide comprehensive hematology/oncology care in collaboration with surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine teams.
• Teach and supervise residents and fellows in the Hematology/Oncology and Palliative Medicine fellowship programs.
• Participate in clinical research and informatics research, leveraging the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and the MyCode Community Health Initiative.
• Enroll and manage patients in clinical trials and offer research‑based treatments.
• Contribute to the development of educational curricula and participate in interdisciplinary quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board certification in Hematology/Oncology or equivalent.
• Licensed Medical Doctor in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and collaborative practice.
• Experience or willingness to engage in teaching, research, and clinical trials.
