Hematologist Oncologist

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology is seeking fellowship-trained, team-oriented hematologist/oncologists to join their well-established practices in Central Florida. This role offers opportunities in both primarily outpatient settings with inpatient rounding during on-call weekends. The successful candidate will join a group that has served the community for over 20 years, expanding to meet the needs of a growing patient population. This position provides a collaborative environment with access to comprehensive oncology services and participation in multidisciplinary clinics and research.

Practice Info

• Well-established practices throughout the Central Florida area, serving the community for over 20 years.
• Practices consist of experienced physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Access to infusion, radiation, surgical, and other specialty services within the AdventHealth system.
• Practices are supported by nurse navigators, social workers, chaplaincy, pharmacy, nutrition, and other comprehensive services.
• Part of AdventHealth's extensive Central Florida oncology network, providing a collaborative, team-centered atmosphere and a strong referral base.
• AdventHealth Cancer Institute is one of the nation's top-ranked cancer programs and the largest in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics.
• Engage in research and clinical trials, including Phase I.
• Attend daily tumor boards.
• Provide whole person care through collaboration with key partners such as surgical oncology, plastic and reconstruction surgery, inpatient and outpatient palliative care, and radiation oncology.
• Inpatient rounding on call weekends.

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained.
• Team-oriented.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Ideal candidate will have experience with opportunities in malignant hematology, general hematology and oncology and opportunities to specialize in specific solid tumor sites.
