AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology is seeking fellowship-trained, team-oriented hematologist/oncologists to join their well-established practices throughout Central Florida. This role offers opportunities in malignant hematology, general hematology and oncology, and specialization in specific solid tumor sites. Physicians will contribute to a collaborative, team-centered atmosphere within AdventHealth's extensive Central Florida oncology network, which is ranked among the top 50 in the nation for cancer by U.S. News & World Report.
Practice Info
- Practices are located throughout the Central Florida area
- Opportunities include both primarily outpatient with inpatient rounding on call weekends
- Practices consist of experienced physicians and advanced practice providers
- Access to infusion, radiation, surgical, and other specialty services within the AdventHealth system
- Practices are supported by nurse navigators, social workers, chaplaincy, pharmacy, nutrition, and other comprehensive services
- AdventHealth Cancer Institute is the largest in Florida, offering comprehensive services in medical oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pediatric oncology, neuro-oncology, gynecologic oncology, bone marrow transplant, and clinical research
Responsibilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinics
- Participate in research
- Participate in clinical trials (including Phase I)
- Participate in daily tumor boards
- Provide whole person care with collaboration with key partners such as surgical oncology, plastic and reconstruction surgery, inpatient and outpatient palliative care, radiation oncology and many others

- Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
