Northwell Health Cancer Institute is seeking full-time, board-certified oncologists or hematologic oncologists to join their busy practices across New York State. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise and academic accomplishments, contributing to exceptional patient care and participating in the Cancer Institute's disease management teams. This role supports the tripartite mission of clinical excellence, research, and education within a leading healthcare system.

Practice Info

  • Treats more than 16,000 patients with cancer annually.
  • Access to services from over 200 Cancer Institute physicians in more than 25 sub-specialties.
  • Strategic affiliation with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory to accelerate cancer research, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Focus on providing services in or near patient communities.
  • Co-locating surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology in one physical location wherever possible.
  • Dedicated nurse navigators connect patients to services.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care.
  • Participate in the Cancer Institute's disease management teams.
  • Contribute to the tripartite mission of clinical excellence, research, and education.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Physicians are employed through Northwell Health Physician Partners.
  • Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, impacted by various factors including physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
  • Sign-On Bonus.

Requirements

  • Board-certified oncologist or hematologic oncologist.
  • Track record, or promise, of clinical expertise and academic accomplishments.
  • For Queens County: Spanish speaking and/or Mandarin speaking preferred.
  • For Staten Island: Experienced physicians preferred.
