AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in New Smyrna Beach is seeking a fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join their established and expanding program. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient services to a diverse patient population with hematology and oncology needs at AdventHealth New Smyrna. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth of oncology services in the region, joining a team-oriented practice that has been a trusted presence in Central Florida for over 20 years.
Practice Info
- Practice consists of two physicians and two APPs.
- Infusion, Radiation, and Surgical services are available at AdventHealth New Smyrna and surrounding hospitals.
- Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials (including Phase 1), and daily tumor boards.
- Lab and infusion are onsite.
- Shared office space with Radiation Oncology for ease of treatments.
- Practice has support from nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, and nutrition.
- Part of an extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services.
- See a variety of hematology and oncology patients.
- Support continued growth in the region.
- Share rotation of call with other physicians in the practice, including weekends.

Requirements
- Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
- Experience with practice building in a new market is preferred.
- Experience seeing a variety of hem malignancies and solid tumor patients is ideal.
