We are seeking a dedicated Hematologist/Oncologist for a 120-day assignment in North Carolina. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule focusing on breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary oncology cases. Providers will work primarily within an outpatient setting with a shared call rotation.

- Staffing mix includes 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Physicians, nurse navigators, genetic counselors, wellness/spiritual services, and 24/7 nurse triage
Responsibilities
- Manage cases related to Breast, Lung, GI, and GU Oncology
- Participate in Tumor Boards and Cancer Committee at UNC Health Blue Ridge, if interested
- Provide care primarily in an outpatient practice setting (98%)
- Engage in a 1:3 shared call rotation, supported by 24-hour nurse triage
- Treat case types including Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Gastrointestinal (Colorectal) Cancer, and Genitourinary Cancer (Prostate, Bladder)

Shift & Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule, with consideration for 3-4 days per week
- Call Schedule: Out of house call, 1:3 shared, with 24-hr nurse triage support
- Patients per day: 13–15
- LOA: 120 Days

- Board Certifications: Hematology, Medical Oncology
- Required Certifications: Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
