Sanford Health is seeking a BE/BC Hematologist/Oncologist to join their robust healthcare team at Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Practice Info
- Join an established Oncology team of 1 physician and 2 APPs
- Onsite Radiation Oncology with advanced imaging and equipment
- Single Outpatient Clinic
- No offsite clinic travel
- 50% Hematology/50% Oncology practice mix
- ~14 patients/day (1-hour visits for new patients)
Responsibilities
- Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients adolescence to adult with all types of cancer and other benign and malignant tumors

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program and completion of a Hematology or Oncology fellowship or integrated Hematology and Medical Oncology Program in accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but have completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training unless the appropriate governing Board waives such requirement
