- Collegial and supportive group of five providers, including a physician and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Estimated 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix
- Office open from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday
- Average patient load of 18-25 patients per day
- Strong, caring team including 10 RNs, 2 navigators, 1 RN case manager, 2 pharmacists, 1 pharmacy tech, 1 lab tech, 1 office manager, 1 clinical director, 1 social worker, 2 financial counselors, 6 clerical staff, and 1 program director
Responsibilities
- Provide oncology consultations as needed for hospital admissions
- See patients from 8 AM to noon and 1 PM to 5 PM
- Manage new patient consults scheduled for 60 minutes and follow-ups for 15-30 minutes
- Participate in weekly tumor board meetings
- Engage in clinical research trial portfolio with a comprehensive support team
