The clinician will manage inpatient and outpatient cases, handling 15-22 patients daily alongside dedicated support staff. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Manage 15-22 patients per day including follow-ups and new consultations
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Perform hospital rounding with midlevel assistance when admissions are necessary
- Maintain documentation through EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed: PRN/weeks at a time
- Shift type: Day Shift, Call, 24-Hour Call
- Call required: Yes
- Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with call coverage during the day and at night
Requirements
- Board certification in Hematology/Oncology (preferred) or Board Eligible status
- ACLS certification mandatory
- BLS certification mandatory
