Hematologist Oncologist

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in Altamonte Springs is seeking a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join their established practice. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient services for a diverse patient population with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to an expanding hospital and a successful oncology group with a strong referral base.

Practice Info

• Practice consists of four physicians and multiple APPs.
• Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services are available at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and surrounding hospitals.
• Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials (including Phase 1), and daily tumor boards.
• Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, and nutrition.
• Extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando.
• The AdventHealth Cancer Institute is the largest program in Florida with seven dedicated locations, caring for approximately 8,000 to 10,000 patients annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient services seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs.
• Spend time in the newly renovated outpatient clinic in Oviedo, Florida.
• Share rotation of call with other physicians in the practice, including weekends.

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and or Medical Oncology.
• Experience with practice building in a new market is preferred.
