Hematologist/Oncologist

Northern Light Health Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join their thriving Cancer Institute in Brewer, Maine. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a highly collaborative, well-established team delivering exceptional cancer care in a community setting with academic program resources. Physicians will enjoy a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care within a multidisciplinary team at the state-of-the-art Lafayette Family Cancer Institute.

Practice Info

• Join a multidisciplinary team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pediatric oncologists, and nurse practitioners/physician associates.
• Practice at the state-of-the-art Lafayette Family Cancer Institute.
• Formal collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, providing access to 55+ adult oncology clinical trials and evidence-based treatment pathways.
• Fully integrated, on-site services including imaging, phlebotomy, radiation oncology, and lymphedema care.
• Partnership with The Jackson Laboratory for advanced genomic testing.
• Multidisciplinary, disease-specific tumor boards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional cancer care in a community setting.
• Provide a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
• Develop subspecialty interests.
• Teach, if interested.

Compensation

• $522,181 base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity and quality incentives.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position.
• The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
