AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in Altamonte Springs is seeking a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join their established practice. This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient services for a diverse patient population with hematologic and oncologic conditions at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and a newly renovated outpatient clinic in Oviedo, Florida. The position offers an opportunity to join a successful oncology group with a strong referral base and a team-centered practice atmosphere.
Practice Info
- Practice consists of four physicians and multiple APPs.
- Infusion, Radiation, and Surgical services are available at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs and surrounding hospitals.
- Access to multi-disciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials (including Phase 1), and daily tumor boards.
- Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain support, pharmacy, and nutrition.
- Extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando.
- AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is a 393-bed acute-care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services.
- See a variety of hematology and oncology patients.
- Time spent in the newly renovated outpatient clinic in Oviedo, Florida.

Shift & Schedule
- Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends.
Requirements
- Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and or Medical Oncology.
- Experience with practice building in a new market is preferred.
