This locum tenens healthcare opportunity offers a structured clinic schedule, no call responsibilities, and an ongoing need for providers who can commit to two to four weeks per month. Eureka is a scenic Northern California community known for its access to Humboldt Bay, historic architecture, and nearby redwood forests, providing an appealing setting for work and recreation.

- Patient Volume: Approximately 12–14 patient encounters per shift
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,120–5,480
Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner Requirements
- At least 1 year of nurse practitioner experience; hematology/oncology or outpatient oncology experience is strongly preferred
- Active nurse practitioner license eligible for practice in California
- Active DEA registration
- Board certified or board eligible
- Current BLS certification
- Two years of current inpatient clinical activity in the specialty, with case logs available for privileging review
- Current CV and complete credentialing documentation
- Ability to meet facility privileging requirements and maintain a clean professional file
Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients receiving outpatient hematology/oncology care
- Provide follow-up care, treatment planning, symptom management, and coordination of services
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
- Work in a clinic connected to an infusion treatment center and hospital-based services
- Complete timely documentation and communicate changes in patient condition or treatment needs
- Manage an expected volume of approximately 12–14 patient encounters per shift
