Help Desk Specialist, Onsite

Help Desk SpecialistDeVine is a leading provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients.Our company is looking for a Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Monterey, CA. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered for hire.The Help Desk Specialist will join DeVine, and collaborate with our government customer onsite, Mondays through Fridays. If you have the relevant experience & attributes, and enjoy working in the Monterey area, then we want you on our team!Responsibilities:Answering and remediating trouble calls during business hoursAnswering all Tier 1 calls, create and remediate Tier 1 ticketsEscalate issues to Tier 2 as appropriate and remediate all Tier 2 escalationsBe responsible for the implementation and operation of an integrated system of hardware and software applications designed to support mission of providing in-resident programs and mobile education eventsTroubleshoot all of the above systems on a continuous basis, either through direct interaction or remote connectionDevelop guides and instructions for participants on the IT resources available during their residency, and how to connect their personal laptops, smartphones, etc.

to wireless networksExperience:Comprehensive knowledge of various computer operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, etc.), techniques, requirements and methods, including systems management software concepts and functions in order to install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and softwareCurrent CompTIA Security+ desiredU.S. CitizenshipBachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university a plusAbout the position:Position Type: Full-time hourly, Must be U.S. Citizen Location: Monterey, CA Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Leave and Paid Vacation Compensation: $19 per hour max rateEqual Opportunity Employer
