HEDIS Registered Nurses (RNs) – NYC | Hybrid | 6-Month Contract
A well-established managed care company is looking to hire an experienced HEDIS Registered Nurses for a 6-month temporary opportunity in New York City.
This is a great opportunity for an RN with hands-on HEDIS review experience who enjoys clinical data analysis, quality improvement, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
📍 Location: Downtown Manhattan
🏡 Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office
📅 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
⏳ Duration: 6 months, with potential for permanent placement
Responsibilities:
- Conduct HEDIS medical record reviews and clinical data abstraction
- Validate supplemental data and ensure clinical data accuracy
- Review records across multiple EMR systems
- Support HEDIS reporting, regulatory submissions, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and accuracy while meeting deadlines
Requirements:
- Active RN license; ASN or BSN accepted
- At least 1 year of HEDIS medical record review experience spanning more than one HEDIS season
- Managed care and/or MLTC experience preferred
- Comfortable navigating multiple EMR systems, including eClinicalWorks (ECW)
- Experience with HEDIS measures such as:
- Breast Cancer Screening (BCS-E)
- Colorectal Cancer Screening (COL-E)
- Eye Exam for Patients with Diabetes (EED)
- Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and ability to work independently in a high-volume environment
