nResponsibilities:
nDiagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and backhoes.
nPerform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
nUtilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
nCollaborate with team members to complete repairs in a timely manner.
nMaintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
nCommunicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
nAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
nStay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
nRequirements:
nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.
nMinimum of 3 years of experience working as a heavy equipment technician.
nStrong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
nAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
nValid driver’s license
nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
nStrong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
nWillingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
