Heavy Equipment Operator-TempUnder general supervision, performs general maintenance within county right of way on road, bridges, road shoulders and medians, drainage ditches, storm drains and catch basins. Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and machinery. Completion of tenth grade (Prefer High School Diploma/GED) and some experience in light and heavy equipment operation.
Masonry experience is required in some positions and helpful in others. Must have a valid South Carolina "A" Commercial Driver's License and valid medical card. Ability to efficiently operate a minimum of three (3) or more pieces of heavy equipment.
