Grading crews prepare sites, move material, stabilize soil, support excavation work, and help create the base needed for roads, highways, commercial developments, and other heavy civil projects.What You'll DoAs a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll operate heavy earthmoving equipment and support grading operations on active jobsites.
You may operate equipment such as:DozersExcavators/trackhoesOther heavy earthmoving equipmentYou will also help with:Operating heavy equipment safely around crews, traffic, and active jobsitesPerforming grading and sitework activities on heavy civil construction projectsPreparing and stabilizing soil and other materialsCleaning and preparing jobsitesDigging trenches, supporting excavation work, and cleaning debris as neededMaintaining equipment and keeping it in good working conditionCommunicating with your crew and supervisor to meet safety, production, and quality goalsAssisting with other duties as directed by the site supervisorWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, safety-minded, and ready to be part of a hardworking team.
