Genesis is seeking dependable Lift Operators for stevedoring operations in Mobile, AL. You will operate lift equipment and assist with vessel loading and unloading operations involving lumber, steel, and bulk cargo . This is physical dock work. You will be around heavy equipment, vessels, and active operations.
Job Duties
- Operate forklifts, including magnet-equipped lifts
- Load and unload lumber, steel, and cargo from vessels and dock areas
- Assist with stevedoring operations during vessel discharge and loading
- Secure materials and maintain safe cargo movement
- Work in coordination with crews in an active environments
- Follow all safety rules at all times
- Valid TWIC Card (Must have in hand)
- Forklift Certification
- Experience operating heavy lift equipment
- Ability to lift, move, and handle lumber and steel
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Must be dependable and ready to work in outdoor conditions
