Resource Options (ROI) is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support a landfill rehabilitation project. This role is built for operators with strong dozer and grading experience who take pride in doing the job right—on and off the machine.Description: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support an active landfill rehabilitation project in East Brunswick, NJ.

This position is ideal for hands-on operators with strong grading experience who are comfortable working in the field, reading site plans, and contributing beyond equipment operation. This role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.Responsibilities:Operate excavators, dozers, and loaders safely and efficientlyPerform grading work including slopes and fine grading (dozer experience required)Support landfill rehabilitation and site restoration activitiesPerform trenching work as requiredRead and interpret site plans and stake layoutsSet and follow grade stakesAssist with general site work when not operating equipmentOperate primarily CAT and Komatsu equipmentRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of solid heavy equipment operating experienceProficient operating dozers, excavators, and loadersStrong grading experience, particularly with dozersAbility to read and interpret site plans and stake layoutsWillingness to get out of the cab and assist with site work as neededPrior construction site experience (not facility-based work)Open to travel and work where projects are locatedOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)Pay Range: $30.00/hr. – $40.00/hr.Now in our 4th decade, Resource Options, Inc.
