Other plant operation duties may be assigned.Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer's instructions.Perform pre-shift safety inspection on the vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.Perform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment.Report needed repairs to supervision.Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements.Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment.Assist with plant maintenance & repairs as needed.Assist with operation of other equipment as needed.Adhere to MSHA and Centex Materials safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.Perform duties with minimum supervision.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesMust be able to work 12 hour shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.Must be able to read equipment operating manualMust be able to complete pre-shift inspection formsMust be able to read and interpret gaugesPossess basic mathematical aptitude to complete daily reportsMust be able to wear all required safety equipment & PPEMust be able to communicate over CB radio or with hand signals and warning sounds, with coworkers regarding movement of vehicles and mobile equipment.Must be service orientated with proven ability to work in a TEAM environmentEnvironmental ConditionsMajority of work is performed outdoors.Exposure to elements of weather to include extremes in heat, humidity, cold, dust and moisture for extended periods.Occasionally/frequently exposed to rough, muddy and icy surface conditions.Intermittent exposure to high noise levels and truck vibration.Frequent exposure to cement, concrete, admixtures, dust, diesel fuel, and other substances that may cause burns, be toxic or explosive if handled incorrectly.Frequently exposed to water and wet conditions.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule12 hour shiftDay shiftNight ShiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityEducationHigh school or equivalent (Required)LanguageSpanish (bi-lingual) (Preferred)Work Location: In person
