Heavy Duty Construction Equipment OperatorPrimary Purpose: Responsible for driving, controlling and servicing heavy duty construction equipment in order to maintain the resources of Maintenance and Operations to develop campuses in a condition of operating excellence, appearance and safety, so that educational use of the facilities can be obtained.Qualifications:Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED Valid Texas Driver's license (Class C) CDL license a plus Other heavy equipment licensure if requiredSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English Hand & foot coordination operating multiple levers, buttons, pedals and controls at the same time Ability to read gauges, dials and other indicators and react mechanically to what you are seeing. Coordinate your actions with others workers on busy job sites. Ability to detect and fix operating problems.
Ability to operate heavy equipment Knowledge of basic vehicle operation and maintenance Familiar with electronic work order systemsExperience: At least 2 years' experience in related field. Salary: AUX PG 5 / 261days Starting: $17.95 per hour
