Heavy Civil Project Manager

I’m working with a well-established, employee-owned heavy civil contractor that is growing its transportation operation in Missouri.

They’re looking for a DOT Project Manager who knows how to run heavy civil work and wants to have a real say in the success of their projects.

This isn’t a desk-only PM role. You’ll work closely with the Superintendent and field team, owning the project from preconstruction through closeout.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage DOT / heavy civil projects from start to finish
• Own project schedule, budget, cost control and overall performance
• Work directly with Superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors and DOT representatives
• Handle contracts, change orders, forecasting and project documentation

What they’re looking for:

• 3+ years of heavy civil project management experience
• DOT, roadway, bridge or transportation experience
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling and cost control
