The HeartCode Training Specialist provides initial training for HealthStream’s HeartCode customers, as well as ongoing training and consultative support, to ensure effective use of all HeartCode products. The HeartCode Training Specialist also provides sales support as needed by participating in pre-contract HeartCode pilots, and HeartCode e-learning workshops. The HeartCode Training Specialist supports the HealthStream/Laerdal partnership through participation in collaborative events and training opportunities.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Training, Education, Healthcare or related discipline preferred.
- At least one year of experience teaching adults, with documented success.
- Sound grasp of adult learning principles.
- Knowledge of AHA BLS and ACLS requirements and guidelines required.
- Clinical experience required.
- Software application training experience a plus.
- Experienced BLS/ACLS instructor, especially using HeartCode products, highly desired.
- Prior experience as a HealthStream Learning Center administrator a plus.
