About this role:
As a Heart Failure Cardiologist, you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care. In this role, you will work closely with ~40 cardiology physicians and APPS together with other specialists to provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient. Your commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care will help advance our mission of improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
- This program is built for Heart Failure at Utah Valley Hospital and will house ECMO and VAD patients.
- Schedule: 5 days per week.
- Support: 2 APPs.
- Call is shared with another group until the Heart Failure program grows.

Compensation:
Our generous compensation package starts with a base salary of $718,000, CME allowance up to $4,500 annually, a $30,000 starting bonus, and up to a $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable).

What you’ll bring:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Heart Failure.
- Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license, or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license.
- U.S. ACGME residency completion.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
Physical Requirements
- Interact with others requiring verbal communication and understanding spoken information.
- Operate computers, telephones, office equipment, and manipulate paper requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
