Heart Failure Cardiologist - Wheat Ridge, CO

About this role

Five days a week at our Wheat Ridge Clinic (western suburb of Denver) located at Lutheran Hospital – a brand new 226‑bed Level II trauma hospital transitioning toward Level I designation.

• This is a 5‑day per week position working at our Wheat Ridge Clinic (western suburb of Denver) at Lutheran Hospital
• Lutheran Hospital is a beautiful, brand new (as of 8/2024), 226 bed level II trauma hospital (working towards level I designation)
• You would continue to grow the Heart Failure program while also seeing general cardiology patients
• General Cardiology Call is 1:18 for all 4 hospital sites with 1:6 weekend call/rounding at Lutheran Medical Center
• You would be on inpatient service 1 week out of every 6 with no clinic that week

Our support

Compensation – Initial base salary of $535,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive. Additionally, up to $50,000 annual quality bonus and a $25,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus is also available if applicable.

Benefits – Generous benefits package including paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance coverage, and an annual CME allowance of $5,000.

What you'll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency trained and Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Fellowship trained in Heart Failure
• Will consider new fellows

Location

Intermountain Health Heart & Vascular Wheat Ridge, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Work Hours

40 scheduled weekly hours (Hourly range $7.25 – $999.99 depending on experience).
