Healthcare Systems TechnicianWe are partnering with a growing provider of healthcare communications and life safety technology to hire a Healthcare Systems Technician. This role is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining critical communication systems used in hospitals and healthcare facilities.The ideal candidate has experience with low-voltage systems, telecommunications, electronics, nurse call systems, or related technologies and enjoys solving technical problems in the field.What You'll DoInstall, program, test, and commission electronic communication systemsPerform final equipment hookups and system programming for new installationsTroubleshoot and repair electronic components and communication systemsRespond to customer service requests and diagnose system issuesPerform preventative maintenance and system inspectionsDocument system readings, service work, and installation activitiesMaintain accurate service tickets, inventory records, and project documentationTrain customers and end users on proper system operationRead and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, riser diagrams, and technical documentationUtilize diagnostic and testing equipment including multimeters, volt meters, ohm meters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing toolsParticipate in an on-call rotation to support customer needsEnsure compliance with all company and customer safety requirementsWhat We're Looking For1-3 years of experience in field service, low-voltage systems, electronics, telecommunications, healthcare technology, or a related technical fieldExperience troubleshooting electronic or communication systemsWorking knowledge of communications technologies and system integrationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawingsStrong customer service and communication skillsComfortable working independently in customer environmentsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPreferred ExperienceExperience with one or more of the following:Nurse Call SystemsVoIP and SIP TechnologiesTelephony SystemsData NetworksWireless CommunicationsCCTV SystemsFire Alarm SystemsSound and Paging SystemsHealthcare Technology SystemsAdditional certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, NICET, NSCA CEST, RCDD, or manufacturer-specific training are a plus.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate Degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Programming, or a related field preferredEquivalent military or technical training will be consideredTravelLocal travel throughout the Middle Tennessee regionMost travel within approximately 90 minutes of NashvilleLimited overnight travel as needed
