Healthcare Solution ArchitectGlint Tech Solutions is a women-owned global staffing and IT recruiting firm connecting top technical talent with leading enterprise clients across the United States.Our client, a leading healthcare payor organization, is seeking a Healthcare Solution Architect to serve as the conduit between Enterprise and Application Architecture teams, ensuring solutions and roadmaps can be successfully executed. The ideal candidate is based in the Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia area for weekly visits, with a secondary option for candidates in WV, NC, PA, DE, NY, NJ, TX, or FL who can travel monthly to the Reston, VA office. The interview process consists of 2-3 rounds, including at least one onsite round for local candidates.This role drives enterprise optimization by introducing capabilities across the domain of responsibility, translating business needs into architectural solutions that meet performance, reliability, and security expectations, and applying enterprise roadmaps, principles, and standards to execute domain strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead preparation of domain architecture viewpoints and models depicting current, target, and interim statesIdentify and analyze pain points and opportunities using current state viewpointsLead advanced modeling and analysis addressing system, information, functional/non-functional, performance, and security/regulatory needsCreate and apply architecture patterns aligned with IT strategies and reference architecturesEnsure target state alignment and traceability across business and solution architecture layersLead extension and enhancement of domain architecture strategies, standards, and guidelinesLead design, engineering, and implementation of reusable assets to improve solution qualityLead peer reviews and represent the architecture domain in Architecture Review Board briefingsOversee publishing and maintenance of architecture viewpoints and work products in the repositoryEnsure regulatory and compliance issues are addressed within solutionsCollaborate with business and technical teams, stakeholders, and partners to maximize architecture impactLead evaluation and selection of solutions/products aligned with IT and domain strategiesResearch emerging domain trends and assess relevance to organizational strategyLead vendor evaluations and represent the architecture domain in RFI/RFP processesLead development of domain architecture methods, tools, and stakeholder communicationsLead domain assessments for complex projects supporting annual planning and resource estimationProvide input to project, product, and enterprise technology roadmapsProvide regular reporting on architecture domain progress, issues, and opportunitiesMandatory Skills8+ years of experience as a Solution ArchitectHealthcare industry background in Claims or Enrollment domainsHands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, API/Web Services, Angular/UX, DB2, and AWS CloudExperience collaborating with stakeholders within a SAFE/Agile frameworkDemonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions, align new capabilities with enterprise guidelines, and provide end-to-end architecture design for features/products/capabilitiesExperience authoring architecture design documentation for use by development teamsAbility to coach, delegate to, and develop architects and engineersAbility to manage cross-domain architecture solutions and issuesExpertise with domain-related architecture frameworks, methods, and toolsStrong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)Bachelor's degree preferredNice-to-Have SkillsMainframe technologiesExposure to AI/ML
