Healthcare Regulatory AssociateDirect Counsel is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Associate with 3–6 years of healthcare transactional and regulatory experience to join a premier healthcare practice advising healthcare providers, life sciences companies, private equity sponsors, and other industry stakeholders on complex regulatory and transactional matters.This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to work at the intersection of healthcare regulation, corporate transactions, and strategic business counseling. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating the regulatory framework governing healthcare organizations and transactions, while providing practical and business-focused advice to sophisticated clients.ResponsibilitiesAdvise healthcare providers, healthcare companies, investors, and sponsors on regulatory compliance mattersSupport healthcare mergers, acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and other strategic transactionsAnalyze and advise on federal and multi-state healthcare regulatory requirementsCounsel clients regarding the Stark Law, Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and related healthcare regulationsAssist with transaction structuring, regulatory due diligence, and healthcare-related compliance mattersPrepare and review regulatory filings, agreements, and compliance documentationProvide ongoing guidance regarding operational, reimbursement, privacy, and corporate practice considerations affecting healthcare and life sciences organizationsQualifications3–6 years of healthcare regulatory and/or healthcare transactional experienceStrong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and related regulatory frameworksExperience supporting healthcare transactions, regulatory due diligence, and compliance initiativesExcellent drafting, analytical, research, and communication skillsStrong academic credentials and attention to detailTexas Bar admission preferred or eligibility to practice in TexasCompensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $260,000 – $390,000Competitive bonus opportunitiesComprehensive health and wellness benefitsRetirement and savings plan optionsOpportunity to work on sophisticated healthcare transactions and regulatory matters alongside industry-leading attorneysThis opportunity offers exposure to cutting-edge healthcare regulatory issues, complex transactions, and some of the most dynamic healthcare and life sciences clients in the market.Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply through Direct Counsel.
