Healthcare Regulatory AssociateDirect Counsel is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Associate with 3–6 years of healthcare transactional and regulatory experience to join a leading healthcare practice advising healthcare providers, life sciences companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and healthcare-focused businesses on complex regulatory and transactional matters.This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney interested in working at the intersection of healthcare regulation, corporate transactions, and strategic business counseling. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating the evolving healthcare regulatory landscape while supporting sophisticated transactions and compliance initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAdvise healthcare providers, healthcare companies, investors, and sponsors on regulatory compliance mattersSupport healthcare mergers, acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and other strategic transactionsAnalyze federal and multi-state healthcare regulatory requirements affecting healthcare and life sciences organizationsCounsel clients regarding the Stark Law, Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, corporate practice of medicine restrictions, and related healthcare regulationsConduct healthcare regulatory due diligence in connection with transactions and investmentsPrepare and review regulatory filings, agreements, and compliance-related documentationProvide ongoing guidance regarding operational, privacy, reimbursement, and compliance issues affecting healthcare and life sciences businessesQualifications3–6 years of healthcare regulatory and/or healthcare transactional experienceStrong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and related regulatory frameworksExperience supporting healthcare transactions, regulatory due diligence, and compliance initiativesExcellent drafting, analytical, research, and communication skillsOutstanding academic credentials and attention to detailAdmission to practice in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain admission preferredCompensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $260,000 – $390,000Competitive bonus opportunitiesComprehensive health and wellness benefitsRetirement and savings plan optionsOpportunity to work on sophisticated healthcare transactions and regulatory matters alongside industry-leading attorneysThis opportunity offers exposure to cutting-edge healthcare regulatory issues, complex transactions, and some of the most dynamic healthcare, life sciences, and private equity-backed clients in the market.Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply through Direct Counsel.
