Your impact

As a global leader in Program Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) services, Jacobs partners with healthcare organizations to deliver complex capital programs from strategic planning through design, construction, activation, and occupancy. We serve as an extension of our clients' teams, helping them make informed decisions that improve patient care, operational performance, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Firm’s healthcare client relationships and market growth initiatives throughout California and the Western U.S
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams, facilities leaders, real estate teams and capital planning stakeholders on facility planning, operational performance, capital investments, and growth strategies
  • Translate healthcare clients’ strategic, operational, clinical, and capital priorities into executable program roadmaps, delivery strategies, budgets, schedules, governance models, and performance measures through strategic planning, master planning, programming, feasibility studies, and operational improvement engagements
  • Support project delivery teams through planning, design, construction, and activation strategies.
  • Develop market-specific service offerings, tools, templates, and best practices that strengthen the firm’s healthcare delivery platform and differentiate the firm in competitive pursuits
  • Develop and mentor multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaboration and professional growth
  • Lead pursuit strategies, proposal development, and represent the firm at industry events, conferences, client meetings, thought leadership activities within the healthcare market to expand brand visibility and market credibility

Here’s what you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Healthcare Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15+ years of healthcare planning, healthcare consulting, program management, or capital project experience.
  • Proven ability to build and manage executive client relationships, facilitate decision-making among diverse stakeholders, and communicate complex program information to boards, C-suite leaders, physicians, facilities teams, and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, strategic planning, facility planning, and capital program development.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience leading large, complex healthcare planning or delivery engagements.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • Experience working with academic medical centers, integrated health systems, and large healthcare providers.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare facility planning, design, construction, activation, phasing, logistics, regulatory compliance, and operations within hospitals or active clinical environments.
  • Ability to lead geographically distributed teams and create consistent delivery standards across multiple clients, regions, and project types.
  • Background in strategic planning, operational assessments, transition planning, and activation.
  • Established healthcare industry network throughout California and the Western U.S.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing future leaders.

The base salary range for this position is $182,300.00 to $285,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
