Project Director / Principal Engineer – Healthcare

I'm working with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy to appoint an experienced Project Director / Principal Engineer to help grow its Healthcare business across the West Coast.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines technical expertise with strong client relationships and business development. You'll lead major healthcare projects, grow existing accounts, win new work and help shape the future of an established healthcare practice.

The Role

• Develop and execute the regional healthcare growth strategy.
• Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare clients, architects and industry partners.
• Win new business and expand existing client accounts.
• Lead the delivery of complex healthcare projects from concept through completion.
• Take responsibility for project performance, profitability and quality.
• Mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams and support the development of future leaders.

About You

You'll ideally have:

• 20+ years' consulting engineering experience within the US healthcare sector.
• A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with PE registration.
• Proven experience delivering large acute healthcare or hospital projects.
• Strong project leadership and business development experience.
• An established network within the California healthcare market.
• Experience with OSHPD/HCAI projects would be an advantage.
