Healthcare Data Business AnalystClient is moving quickly and I have personally placed two consultants with this end-client. The rate is low but it's 6 months contract to hire and there are 15 openings. Must have healthcare experience and must be eligible to convert to FTE at CGI. Rate: $ 35/ hour on w2 only.CGI is looking for a healthcare data business analyst (HDBA) is responsible for working with the business owners to identify data and information requirements, develop/integrate data models and conduct analysis and reports.
The role will work with developers to ensure programming will achieve business requirements. A key role is interpreting and understanding analysis and sharing knowledge found and expertise with others. The HDBA should have strong knowledge and experience with health insurance data and the ability to extract, integrate, link and analyze this data. The HDBA is also responsible for creating reports based on disease and treatment trends, quality of care, expenses and income.Responsibilities:Identify and document total data needs for strategic enterprise programsDevelop business use cases, business and data requirements, and related documentation in support of Enterprise Data ManagementUnderstand and inventory the business processes and business decisions which are enabled by EDMProvide data expertiseActs as the liaison between business owners and ITTransfers knowledge to production support team and matrix partners -- provides documentation that can be referenced for cross-training and issue resolutionQualifications & Skills:• 5+ years related experience with healthcare and insurance data. • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, computer science, statistics or mathematics. • Ability to analyze data from a health perspective. • Knowledge of healthcare business. • Understand what data is needed to address a business question and how to analyze it and interpret results. • Strong experience with identifying data and information requirements for business intelligence and analytics. • Ability to write basic SQL and knowledge of relational databases. • Proficient in the use of computers and programs that specialize in data collection and data management • Proven ability to extract/source data from multiple data sources and integrate them into a single source view/report/dataset • Demonstrate acumen in data profiling and data modeling • Ability to communicate with business users and translate business requirements • Ability to dissect and learn applications and database solutions • Ability to work independently on projects with minimal direction • Strong interpersonal skills and effective team player • Strong verbal/written communication skills EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • At least five (5) years of Business Intelligence Management or related BI service delivery experience • Decent understanding of Business Intelligence related Data Profiling, Reporting Tools, Visualization, Analytics, Dashboards, and Predictive Analysis through tools and technologies Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems • Experience in delivering self-service BI solutions that promote data discovery
