Healthcare Claims Specialist I

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA is seeking a PFS Specialist I to file Medicaid Secondary, Commercial, Workman Comp and Medicare claims promptly and accurately with payors. Candidates should have 2-3 years hospital business office experience and a solid understanding of insurance reimbursement methods.

The role includes following up on denials within 3–5 business days, recording all account actions in the system, and performing quarterly Medicare Credit Balance reporting when applicable.
