Supporting Medicaid finance and policy initiatives, the full-time remote Healthcare Accounting Analyst will provide analytical and financial reporting assistance, focusing on healthcare financial reporting, reimbursement, and rate development. Key responsibilities Assist with financial and analytical support for Medicaid reimbursement and rate setting engagements Analyze healthcare financial and operational data, including provider cost reports and claims datasets Prepare Excel-based models, reconciliations, and client deliverables, while collaborating with team members on complex challenges Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial analysis, or healthcare finance Advanced Excel skills, including experience with large datasets and complex formulas Experience in healthcare accounting, financial reporting, or Medicaid payment analysis Familiarity with SQL, SAS, R, Python, or similar programming languages and tools
