As a full-time Subject Matter Expert - Health System Analyst supporting the VA's Office of Suicide Prevention, the candidate will lead the analysis, design, and implementation of business processes to enhance Elevated Risk Care Management initiatives across the Veterans Health Administration, collaborating with stakeholders to improve care for high-risk Veterans. Key responsibilities Lead the analysis of VHA business processes related to Elevated Risk Care Management, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for redesign Design and implement improved workflows across VHA Medical Centers and VISNs, ensuring alignment with clinical standards and Veteran-centered care Conduct stakeholder interviews and data reviews to diagnose operational problems and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership Required qualifications Minimum of 10 years of experience in health systems analysis or healthcare operations in large-scale government or integrated healthcare environments Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, Business Administration, or a closely related field Extensive experience working with or supporting the Veterans Health Administration, including familiarity with VHA Medical Center operations Ability to obtain and maintain VA network access and a Position of Public Trust background investigation Demonstrated knowledge of clinical and business process frameworks within the VHA, including experience in process analysis and redesign initiatives
