Health Service Director – Training

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of managing a team as a Health Services Director.
• Work under a current Health Services Director to gain practical experience.
• Participate in a three-month training program depending on prior experience.
• Potential assignments post-program in various management positions such as Health Services Director or Memory Care Director.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Minimum of six months in current position for Oakmont team members.
• Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse.
• One (1) year experience in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• California LVN or RN License in good standing.
• Willingness to travel and open to relocation.
• Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership.
• Prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Proficient in basic computer systems.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be coachable, highly motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening tests.

Core Competencies

Demonstrates strong clinical leadership and management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and coaching within a residential care environment. Holds a valid California LVN or RN License and is proficient in working with seniors, including those with cognitive impairments.

Certifications & Qualifications

• California LVN Or RN License.
• First Aid Certification.
• CPR Certification.
