Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of managing a team as a Health Services Director.
- Work under a current Health Services Director to gain practical experience.
- Participate in a three-month training program depending on prior experience.
- Potential assignments post-program in various management positions such as Health Services Director or Memory Care Director.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Minimum of six months in current position for Oakmont team members.
- Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse.
- One (1) year experience in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
- California LVN or RN License in good standing.
- Willingness to travel and open to relocation.
- Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership.
- Prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
- Proficient in basic computer systems.
- Able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be coachable, highly motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening tests.
Core Competencies
Demonstrates strong clinical leadership and management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and coaching within a residential care environment. Holds a valid California LVN or RN License and is proficient in working with seniors, including those with cognitive impairments.
Certifications & Qualifications
- California LVN Or RN License.
- First Aid Certification.
- CPR Certification.
