Responsibilities
- Participate in training to gain a comprehensive understanding of how to manage a team
- Work under a current Health Services Director to gain on-the-job experience
- Complete departmental training
- After program completion, potential assignments include Health Services Director or management positions in communities
- Complete the program without additional responsibilities by hiring a replacement for your current role
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Minimum of six months in current position with Oakmont
- Prefer two (2) years experience as a Licensed Nurse; one (1) year experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
- California LVN or RN License in good standing
- Willing to travel throughout the state
- Open to relocation for a permanent position
- Demonstrated interest in clinical leadership
- Prior experience coaching or mentoring peers preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Passion for serving older adults
- Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals
- Proficient in basic computer systems
- Ability to learn electronic health records and other Company tools
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Able to adapt and respond to change, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Must be coachable, highly motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to obtain and maintain valid First Aid and CPR
Core Competencies
Demonstrates strong clinical leadership capabilities with a focus on serving older adults, while effectively managing time and prioritizing tasks. Holds a valid California LVN or RN License and is proficient in electronic health records and basic computer systems.
