Health Education Program Coordinator - II
The Public Health division of the Department of Health and Human Services is currently recruiting for the position of Health Education Program Coordinator - II. The Health Education Program Coordinator – II with Placer County coordinates and implements public health education, health promotion, disease prevention, and community outreach programs. The position develops educational materials, conducts presentations, collaborates with community partners, and supports program evaluation, data collection, and reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and organized professional who can build community partnerships, manage multiple priorities, and effectively promote health and wellness across diverse populations.
The eligible list resulting from this recruitment may also be used to fill future permanent or extra-help, open or promotional vacancies. Extra-help appointments made from this eligible list may transition to permanent status, should vacancies arise. Temporary/Extra Help assignments are limited to 999 hours (or 960 hours for CalPERS retired annuitants) in a fiscal year and are not eligible for benefits.
Upon successful completion of a foreign language proficiency exam, an additional 5% bilingual pay will be paid to employees who use a second language on a regular basis in the normal course of business.
