Health Economics Program Modeler

Job Description

The client is seeking a Health Economic Modeler for an initial 4-month remote contract to develop a complex microsimulation cost-effectiveness model.

The modeler will:

• Develop the microsimulation model in TreeAge Pro and subsequently translate it into RDebug, validate, and calibrate the model as needed
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses
• Interpret and communicate model results
• Support manuscript writing and preparation

The position may be full- or part-time and can be performed remotely from anywhere in the world, subject to country-specific approval.

Skills and Requirements

• MS or PhD in Health Economics
• Strong proficiency in TreeAge Pro and R
• Experience developing cost-effectiveness and microsimulation models
• Experience with model validation, calibration, and sensitivity analyses
• Strong analytical, programming, scientific writing, and communication skills
• Health economic modeling in oncology
• Peer-reviewed publications in health economics or cost-effectiveness analysis
• Experience with scientific manuscript development
