A law firm seeks a Health Care Litigation Associate in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of litigation experience with a focus on health care law, assisting clients such as health plans and hospitals with complex legal issues.
Duties
- Litigate health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters.
- Advise on health care regulatory and compliance issues.
- Handle arbitration and litigation of reimbursement disputes.
- Assist with health care operations and health information privacy and security.
- Engage in provider and vendor contracting, and payer-provider disputes.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of litigation experience in health care law.
- Admitted to practice in California.
- Public agency experience is a plus.
- Experience with Medi-Cal and public health care providers preferred.
- Admission in Nevada or willingness to take the Nevada bar exam is desirable.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in California.
